Nnola Somtochi Amuzie
USC Gould School of Law
Nnola recently graduated from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Before law school, she received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with a minor in African American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
At Gould, Nnola was involved with a number of organizations on campus, including the Black Law Students Association (BLSA); Sports Law Society; and the Entertainment Law Society. She has served on the BLSA Executive Board as the Alumni Relations Chair and the Chair for the 2019 BLSA Annual Awards Banquet. As a 2L, Nnola participated in the Hale Moot Court Honors Program and competed as a Finalist in the Oral Advocacy Competition. Last Fall, she completed a Legal Externship with the National Football Players Association in Washington, D.C.
After graduated, Nnola plans to join the Los Angeles office of Alston & Bird in Litigation and Trial Practice.
Nnola was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her parents are Nigerian immigrants who have constantly instilled the importance of culture, family, and community into her. Nnola’s childhood dream has always been to study law and use the power of her voice to be an impactful advocate and leader.
