​During the workshop, our Youth Outreach Co-Chair, taught students the fundamentals of trademarks, copyrights, and patents. The students then applied what they learned by creating their own brand concept for either an energy drink or a mobile app while exploring the principles of trademark distinctiveness.

Langston also provided Starbucks gift cards and candy to reward the students for their enthusiastic participation and creative presentations. It was inspiring to see the students’ innovation, critical thinking, and excitement as they brought their ideas to life.
